We request to commission your services to investigate chemical issues surrounding the current use and possible change of materials used in common antifreezing agents. The antifreezing agents are to be used in motor vehicles and on roads where the minimum temperature is not lower than -20 degrees C.
Please report on any issues which may affect performance of the vehicles the antifreeze is used in and suggest dilution amounts for a range of temperatures.
Include environmental issues which may be of concern due to release of material. Please also include any state or federal issues or requirement regarding current materials or other materials which you may be suggesting for use.
